BROWN DEER
A 17-year-old Brown Deer boy was arrested for physical abuse of a child and a16-year-old Brown Deer boy for battery after they attacked a boy at Brown Deer High School, 8060 N. 60th St., at 10:15 a.m. Jan. 13. The younger boy held the victim while the older boy used a wrench or a pliers and pinched and twisted the victim's nipple. When arrested, the older boy laughed saying he was just giving the boy a "purple nuple" adding he wasn't sorry. Witnesses reported that these two boys have bullied others also on an ongoing basis.
A 56-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, driving after revocation, nonregistration and unauthorized display of registration in the 4400 block of West Brown Deer Road at 12:15 a.m. Jan. 15. When told to do field sobriety tests, the man said, "I can't do that. I'm old." He also said he just got out of jail for public drinking. His preliminary blood alcohol content was 0.228 and he was taken for a blood draw.
A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, driving with a suspended license and suspended registration and a warrant in the 8200 block of North 60th Street at 11:55 p.m. Jan. 21. When asked if he'd been drinking, the man shrugged and said, "A couple of beers." His BAC was 0.18.
A resident reported a man came to his home saying he worked for the village water department and needed to check the water to see if it was green in the 8300 block of North Grandview Drive at 10 a.m. Jan. 23. The resident closed the door, went to the kitchen and checked his own water. It wasn't green. While doing that he heard the front door open and when he returned the visitor, described as possibly Hispanic, had gotten into a tan Chevrolet Suburban driven by another man and left.
A 27-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for stalking, attempted burglary, disorderly conduct, damage to property and his second drunken driving after attempting to enter a home in the 8600 block of North 51st Street about 8 p.m. Jan. 24. The two had met at the liquor store where he worked and the resident said he had come to her home uninvited before. He said they had had "a thing" which she denied. This time he attempted to force his way in by removing a bedroom screen. The man said that was dumb." His preliminary BAC was 0.178.
A 23-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic and unlawful use of a telephone after threatening a woman during the day Jan 24. The victim went to the police station to report him after he went to her job and threatened her.
FOX POINT
A neighbor called police to report that a rabbit was being kept in an outdoor rabbit hutch and it was too cold for it to be outside in the 200 block of East Willow Road Jan. 17. Police were called again, this time by the rabbit's owner, who reported his rabbit missing from that hutch at 7:15 p.m. Jan. 20. The next day, Jan. 21, the owner received two letters stating it was "deadly" and "cruel" for that rabbit to be outside.
A $500 laptop computer and a $75 check were taken from a car in the 8700 block of North Port Washington Road before 7:15 p.m. Jan. 24. A window was broken to gain entry causing more than $200 damage. The computer belonged to Nicolet High School.
GLENDALE
A $200 GPS unit and anti-depression medications, value not listed, were taken from a pickup truck in the 2000 block of West Kendall Avenue on Jan. 19 or 20.
A 25-year-old Glendale man was arrested for battery/domestic violence after he called police saying he had a hammer stuck in his head in the 6700 block of North Sidney Place at 4 a.m. Jan. 20. He didn't tell them that he had chocked and battered a woman and she, to protect herself, hit him with the hammer. The man was found bleeding from the head and denied being hit saying he was injured when he fell down and hit his head on a wall. He also denied hitting the woman saying, "I take care of her. Why would I hurt her?" The two were to meet with an assistant district attorney Jan. 23 but the victim did not show up. If she fails to appear, the charges would be dropped.
A 57-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft of bras and panties valued at $391 from Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 1:20 p.m. Jan. 20. The woman had hidden 19 items under her skirt and in her purse.
A woman fled the scene after she dumped hot coffee on a woman at Speedway, 6170 N. Green Bay Ave., at 3:15 p.m. Jan. 20. The victim, who was not injured although her head and jacket were both covered with the hot coffee, said after the suspect bumped into her, the victim said, "You're a (expletive, expletive). It was then the suspect threw the coffee and fled in a cream or white Lincoln.
Two Milwaukee women, 20 and 21, were arrested for theft of children's clothing valued at $257 at Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 6 p.m. Jan. 20. One woman had a booster bag and both said they were unemployed and the clothing was a birthday gift for a relative. They were told they were banned for life from the mall.
A 22-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after she tried to use a credit card which did not match her ID at Forever 21, 5766 N. Bayshore Drive, at 7:20 p.m. Jan. 20. An employee said the woman let loose with an "obscenity-laden tirade" including saying "This is (expletive) ridiculous" and threatening to "slap the (expletive) out of" the employee.
Police were called to help in an auto lockout and when they got the car opened reported a strong odor of marijuana at Cardinal Stritch University, 6801 N. Yates Road, at 6:45 p.m. Jan. 22. A police report stated that "a small amount of shake (marijuana)" was found. university security reported it "will handle the school/athletic team discipline." Later that same day, "roaches" - marijuana cigarette butts - and a bag with marijuana residue was found in a dorm room.
Gold jewelry valued at more than $8,000 was taken from the 6900 block of North Elm Tree Road during the day and early evening Jan. 23. There was no sign of forced entry but foot prints were found outside the home.
Two Milwaukee females, 15 and 21, were arrested for theft and the older one also for possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license with five prior citations after taking items valued at $120 from Children's Place, 5664 N. Bayshore Drive, at 1:15 p.m. Jan. 24. The women fled but were stopped and in their car were booster bags along with clothing valued at more than $200 taken from Victoria's Secret and more items, value not listed, from Aeropostale. When five plastic bags of 2.3 grams of marijuana were found in the woman's coat, she yelled at the officer, "Hey, that's my weed. Are you gonna smoke it?" Both women were banned from the mall.
A 31-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft at Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 3:20 p.m. Jan. 24. The woman admitted taking a $25 watch because, "It wasn't on sale and I didn't want to pay full price."
Items valued at $4,000 including a purse, wallet, a laptop, smartphone and $1,200 cash was taken from a car at Kinko's, 5353 N. Port Washington Road, between 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Jan. 24.
Two 22-year-old men and a 23-year-old man, all of Milwaukee, were arrested for fraud on an innkeeper and one of the younger men for possession of 2.3 grams of marijuana at Buffalo Wild Wings, 590 W. Northshore Drive, at 9:20 p.m. Jan. 24. The men who left without paying but then returned to pay the bill, left again when told police were on the way. They were stopped and the driver, 22, was cited for driving while suspended, with five prior convictions, and violation of a traffic signal.
A 32-year-old man, residence not listed, was arrested as a felon in possession of a firearm, trespassing on land posted as no firearms allowed and carrying a concealed weapon at The Apple Store, 5715 N. Centerpark Way, at 7:15 p.m. Jan. 26. The man, who struggled with police, had a loaded .40-caliber Glock semiautomatic pistol loaded with nine rounds.
A 47-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and speeding 50 mph in a 30 mph zone in the 1400 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 1:45 a.m. Jan. 27. The man, who said he didn't have "too much" to drink, had a BAC of 0.19.

SHOREWOOD
A 16-year-old Shorewood boy was arrested for disorderly conduct after breaking computer rules and refusing to leave when told at the Shorewood Library, 3920 N. Murray Avenue at 3:25 p.m. Jan. 27. The boy also used profane and indecent language.
A 23-year-old Shorewood man was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, causing injury by drunken driving, following too close and hit and run after causing an accident with three people injured in the 3500 block of North Oakland Avenue at 3:15 a.m. Jan. 28. The man drove away but left behind his front bumper with his license plate attached. He and his car were both located a short time later at his apartment across the street from the police department. The car had extensive front-end damage with both air bags deployed dotted with blood. The man, who had blood on his hands, denied at first he was driving but then admitted he was. His preliminary BAC was 0.19 and he was taken for a blood draw.
Police were called to a disorderly man who was angry and upset when he was unable to cash a $90 check at Wells Fargo Bank, 4015 N. Oakland Ave. at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 28. The man had accepted the check, which was worthless, in payment for a set of wheels sold to someone through Craigslist.
Two 17-year-old Shorewood boys were arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and alcohol and one for driving after suspension in the 1200 block of East Kenmore Place at 11:56 p.m. Jan. 28. Marijuana residue was found scattered throughout the car. Also found was a glass pipe with residue and a bottle of Jim Beam bourbon whiskey.
WHITEFISH BAY
A 24-year-old Whitefish Bay woman was arrested for drunken driving, refusal to take a breath test and speeding 38 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 4700 block of North Oakland Avenue at 2:19 a.m. Dec. 23.
A 49-year-old Glendale man was warned for trespassing after a report of a man wearing a ski mask holding a computer standing outside of Starbuck's, 302 E. Silver Spring Drive, at 2:30 a.m. Jan. 26. The man said he was using the company's Wi-Fi to pay his bills online.
Five lockers were broken into but nothing reported taken in the 5500 block of North Lydell Avenue at 6 p.m. Jan. 26.
A 54-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and impeding traffic after stopped for driving slowly in the 4800 block of North Berkeley Boulevard at 1:15 a.m. Jan. 29. He was taken for a blood draw.
Two suspicious fires were reported in apartment foyers in the 800 and 900 blocks of East Henry Clay Street at 8 a.m. and 5:50 p.m. and another in a waiting area at Holy Family Administrative Offices, 4825 N. Wildwood Ave., at 10:30 a.m. all on Jan. 29. In the foyers, papers were set on fire in planters and at the church, the fire was started on a bench. Cigarette butts were recovered at all the sites.
A 16-year-old Whitefish Bay girl was arrested for disorderly conduct after her mother called police to report that she was out of control in the 4800 block of North Anita Avenue at 6:35 p.m. Jan. 29. The girl kicked in her bedroom door and yelled profanities after her cellphone was taken away.
