Liberals Want It Both Ways

Lefties could not wait until enough time had passed to start filling out petitions to recall Governor Scott Walker. Public places were full of people just begging citizens and potential voters to sign the petitions. Then, when time came to submit them to the government accountability board, they proudly paraded them in caring the boxes on their heads.

Then, came the possibility that the petitions would be placed on the Internet as public documents. That caused a near panic for the Liberals. Now, all of a sudden all the lefties were going to be exposed. After months of parading around Madison pounding on drums, they wanted to remain anonymous. Stalkers would now have the names and addresses of potential victims. Well, this ought to be a lesson for all of those progressives out there- your actions have consequences.

These lefties will also be thinking that the supporters of Scott Walker will be engaging in the immature behavior that they have displayed.  But if these lefties had common sense, they would recognize that the people who voted for Scott Walker have more important things to do.  The supporters of Scott Walker voted once, and their vote should be counted. It Should not be declared null and void  as these lefties now want. Tax-and-spend Democrats don't want the recipients of government programs disenfranchised, but the votes of hard-working citizens can be canceled out as a result of their own selfish whims.

As the Democrat platform becomes revealed, we know one thing-it is going to involve tax increases. Yes, the Democrats think they are going to volunteer themselves to pay a little bit more so that the state can spend a lot more. But one thing is very apparent-.we are not going to spend our way to prosperity. And we will not tax ourselves back to the way things used to be. Like they were in the Doyle administration.

  1. It appears we're already back to the Doyle administration. Gov. Walker, after refusing several different federal funds, for things that would have provided jobs and been beneficial for the people of the state, has decided to accept the latest federal funds. But rather than use them for the purpose they were intended, he plans on using them to balance his budget - wait a minute - didn't he tell us he already did that?
  2. Wow, balance a budget? Those are mystery words to the libs. And now the O wants to present the SAME budget he tried to pass when he had control of the HOUSE AND SENATE and couldn't? He must think everyone is stupid as he knows it will NEVER pass and he will now be able to blame Republicans. However, rumor has it that Reid is not even going to bring it up for a vote? Just more games being played so they can lay the blame on Republicans. Still waiting for action on the 30 House passed bills. What say you Harry Reid? As Daniel Hannen of the British Parliament said, IT IS MORE IMPORTANT TO HAVE CONTROL OF CONGRESS than the Presidency. That was evident in what happened in Britain. Freedoms lost according to Hannen! I'm still wondering why I have to pay for someone else's contraceptions and, YES, abortion? Libs argue for the health of the woman? BS! It is all about preventing birth. I'm taking vitamins etc for MY health. Can I bill the government for THAT! Preposterous!
  3. Gordy1 Want to try to stay on the blog topic? It's about Wisconsin's budget - not the federal budget - and the Gov's attempt to steal federal funds to "balance" his budget - something he has already told us he has done. According to the budget bureau, he's about 140 million short in balancing the budget. Just like he's short on job creation. Today Frontier Airlines announced a 500 jobs loss in Milwaukee. I realize that the Gov has no control over the decisions of businesses, but if he is really improving the business climate in the state, the airlines would be adding flights to take advantage of the increased traffic, rather than cutting it.
  4. sound of crickets -zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  5. What do you think?
  6. Crickets have returned! All I know about Wisconsin is what I hear, read and see. And I will re-emphasize, Walker is the type of Governor every state needs. I guess if you folks prefer your last Governor or one like him, the MAJORITY would have voted one in. As I see it, the libs didn't get their way so they go crying and whining saying things aren't fair. Same old rhetoric? Right now, I'm more concerned with the FACT that gas prices are up 91% since the O took over and he has no intention of helping to make it better. And yes, the actual unemployment rate is at 10% when figuring in the millions who have dropped out. I guess cooking the books is a good thing when re-election is on the line and the ill-informed will swallow the bait.
  7. Good news for GM! They profited $7 billion and gave union workers (the cause of their problem) $7000 bonuses. Where is the $28 billion they owe the taxpayers? Also, $3.9 billion was given to energy companies associated with the administration. That does not count the $539 million that went to Solyndra and they went bankrupt.
  8. 91 campaign trips for the O, America has lost 42,400 factories and 5.5 million jobs since 2001. California gas now over $4.00 a gallon. When Bush was in office, gas went to $1.86, a 30% bump and the media went ballistic. NOW, gas has hit almost $4.00, a 90% increase AND THE MEDIA IS SILENT. Hypocrisy 101! Anyone who thinks the media is not in the tank for the O is clueless or blind. One has to wonder how they think they can get away with the slobbering love affair with the O.
  9. Wow, the O loses almost a trillion of taxpayer dollars to "green" energy and he wants to double down. He promised, in 2008, 5 million green jobs. Oops, only 8000 created at a cost of hundreds of thousands per job. The O and Pelosi now blame oil companies and Wall Street for gas prices. In 2007 when prices were high, the blame was layed on Bush with 97 media stories while now only 27 stories under Obama. So much for fair and balanced. And oops, not 47% of people pay no federal taxes but rather 49.5% pay no federal taxes. THAT represents Obama's base. 152 million Obama voters without even campaigning, what a deal. I hope he stops campaigning as it costs $179,500 per hour for Air Force One. Gas now $6.00 a gallon in Florida. The Energy Secretary Chu must be smiling big time. It is what he was hoping for. Talk about destroying this country from the inside! That will do it for sure.
  10. Make no mistake about it, Obama and the Democrats want high gas prices so people won't use as much oil and they can spend trillions more on the scam of "green" energy, which is 50-75 years away. Until then, harvesting our own gas and oil is the ONLY way. Top level energy people say that within 12 years we could be completely INDEPENDENT of foreign oil. That is NOT in the O's agenda if he intends to make everyone more dependent on the government. My God, when will this chaotic government start getting things right. There has not been an intelligent decision from this fraudulent government in over 3 years. According to them CHAOS is good and the money they get from "green" whackos can keep them in office. I'm sure that even folks in Wisconsin can figure that out. Then again, Hmmmmm!
